The social organization Youth Unity for Voluntary Action 'YUVA' today organized a free health camp under the guidance of Dr. Prakash Haldar on the premises of Upgraded Middle School at Dhengam village in Narda Panchayat of Potka block.

Those who were present on this occasion included the founder members of Yuva Mr. Arbind Tiwary, Pramod Kumar and Sujit Sahu.

More than 100 villagers from the nearby villages including Dhengam, Karadkocha, Ontejhari, Ravdansai, Burusai, Chirugoda, Lango, Parsigjad etc, benefited from this camp.

All the villagers were examined by the doctor and were given free counselling and medicines.

Most patients examined in the health camp were found to be suffering from malnutrition, anemia, joint pain, skin diseases, stomach-related diseases, seasonal ailments, cough, cold and fever etc.

Those who worked hard to make the health camp a big success included Deepak Kumar, Jyoti Pingua, Arup Mandal, Dilip Sardar, Puran Chand Sardar and Shishu Sardar.

This health camp was organized in collaboration with 'Centre for World Solidarity'.

The main objective of the camp was to provide medical facilities to the people from Sabar community living in the area.
