Bal Mela brings joy to children

Jamshedpur: Yuva, Jamshedpur organized a Bal Mela (Child Conference) on March 17 at Chakdi Middle School. Children from 24 different schools participated in this conference. This programme was organized with the help of Educance, Development Focus and SPAR as a part of Shiksha Se Parivartan campaign.
The first prize in Bal Sansad went to Chhota Hadiayan Middle School, while the second and third prizes were won by Nachosai Upgraded Middle School and Kisandih Primary School respectively.
Suchitra Murmu of Tangrain School won the first prize in Quiz, while Suraj Sahu and Vikas Mahakud of Chhota Hadiayan won the second and third prizes.
The first prize in handicraft competition for up to Class V was given to Vasanti Tudu, while the second and third prizes were won by Rajesh Mahakud and Sudeshwar Sardar of Nachosai School. In the class IV category, the first prize went to Pinky Sardar, second prize to Rajen Sardar of Chakri School, while Samir Bhagat of Tangrain School won the third prize.

Other teachers who worked hard to make the programme a big success included Dulal Das, Piyush Mandal, Sakla Manjhi, Sushil Sardar, Vidya Mandal, Pravir Bhagat, Puran Rajat, Paritosh Mandal and Bali Swar Sardar.
